Fatty steak lovers, UNITE!
    #15515376 -

Do you find yourself gnawing on the bone from your ribeye steak or prime rib until every last morsel of fat is gone? Do you sometimes find yourself using your canine teeth to dig out some of that sweet sweet delicious marrow? Then you might consider joining the AFSLA (American Fatty Steak Lovers Association).

Those of you who thoroughly enjoy beef the way it's meant to be enjoyed (still mooing) please feel free to sign here! Personally I like my steak medium rare to rare depending on cut and as marbleized as possible. I've been lucky enough on several occasions to eat some of the finest wagyu kobe beef around and it was delicious beyond belief. Hell I even had it raw over sushi rice before and even then I shit a brick over how good it was.

I feel this thread needs to be made now more than ever because Christmas time is upon us and if you don't get yourself a prime rib this month then I feel horribly for you. :feelsbadman:

My personal favorite way to cook my prime rib is to completely coat the top of it in kosher salt after lightly seasoning with black/white pepper and seasoning salt. After that simply bake to perfection nice and slowly throughout the day then enjoy.

I know I'm not the only one out there who enjoys a delicious prime rib and good times with family so please AFSLA members unite!

Have a fantastic and happy holiday(s) everyone!

VV

Always, also on another note I want to drain all of those steak juices off of the plate directly into my mouth.

Damn OP you had me drooling. I love the prime rib, but I love the rib eye even more. Salt and pepper rubbed into it, pan seared on medium high in olive oil until it starts to form that "crust", and then into the pre-heated oven for 5 mins :crazy2:

There's other things I'd use those juices for if I didn't want to drink them so badly.  :shoosh:

This is also my preferred method of cooking rib eyes, high heat on the burner and oven set to broil. This also leaves plenty of pan juices that I like to pour over my baked potato.

I almost always have aspargus with my steak, then when the butter from that meets to the steak juices, then drank is heaven  :drooling:

This may be blasphemy in this thread, but I think I love the actions more than the product. Like a junkie loading his needle, I love that feeling of finally having nice weather (Wisconsin), stepping out and getting the grill going, feeling a warm spring thunderstorm coming from the distance, getting all the fixins together and just relaxing with a brew and cooking some dank ass food.

No it's not blasphemous at all, the op said "I know I'm not the only one out there who enjoys a delicious prime rib and good times with family".

It's always a combination of the right amount of alcohol the right music/show being on and great company to help you enjoy the amazing food that makes everything come together.

Take two flank steaks and season them, place some green (or whatever color you like), onions, mushrooms, and butter on top of one of the steaks. Place the other steak over the top and tie together. Cook on the grill to your liken's :crazy2:

This thread is making me hungry and I just ate lunch!  I love me some Ribeye, the rarer the better!  I like to get my grill as hot as humanly possible, then cook my steak for about 30sec on each side.  Charred on the outside, but cool in the center...  :drooling:

The fire has many things to teach.
But so does the human experience.. which is like fire, sometimes you just need to stoke the coals and sometimes you just need to add a log or reposition the log matrix. But a well built fire will be much more self-sustaining than a poorly built one, and they all need love to grow. And don't fuck around or your might burn yourself. Must always respect the fire. - Shroomism
