I find it hard to believe there are people who think that shit works.

I have no idea what he thinks about it, His parentals obviously could be forcing him somehow. I'm also interested in how they found out he's gay, well as others have said could be gay at least.  I'll find out more later on.

I'd just be nce about it and tell him it's ok and there's nothing wrong with it but he needs to end te hippacritic homophobic comments.
