Cyan ID request + need transplant tips

So i found a baby patch in GGP and it was most definitely not going to be there by the time they got big enough for me to pick them, were in a very obvious spot. so i have 2 small shrooms, a pin, and some mycelium. Not sure what i should do with the myc, want to transplant but am not sure which steps i should take, considering this would be my first active find as well.

Habitat: Wood chips, in GGP in a pretty open area, pretty sure was being watered frequently by a sprinkler.

Gills: light brown/cinnamon

Stem: white, feels hollow, bruisin like a mofo

Cap: smooth, has a lil nipple, dark brown when wet, lightened while drying

Spore print color: In the process

Bruising: blue im pretty sure

Location: GGP, SF CA

As to the other half of your query, try searching the Shroomery for cardboard tek or egg carton tek. Nice work :thumbup:

Thanks alot guys. Just want to give a shoutout to the whole community in general, was my 2nd hunt in ggp and my first active find, couldnt have done it without all the info and wonderful pics i have been admittedly lurking through and reading up hard. Guess it payed off.

So 3gs half wet haha, im thinkin fast til tomorrow then find me some currant juice?? Or will these bad boys be better fresh

Eat them dry our you could introduce some nasty bacteria into your system.  GGP isn't the 'uhmm' most prestine place to find things to put in your mouth..

these are strong, but 3g wet is 0.3g dry, and that's enough to feel but not to go far. 2g dry is my "solid" dose; 3g blows me away; 1g is the least i consider a proper journey.

Funny you should mention 0.3g dry as that is the weight i went by for my first bio-assay with this species yesterday.
Why so little you may ask. I just wanted to ascertain the potency compared to fresh libs as i will occasionally eat ~15 very small specimens while hunting,over a period of half an hour or so, for the brightening, smiley, and earth connectednessy effect. 

Seemed to me the equivalent dry weight of cyan's, actually fractionally under 0.3g was a little stronger, maybe as a result of drinking the dose all at once in a tea, rather than over a period of a half hour or so.
Based on this, 1g of cyan's would be equivalent to the 50ish mark of libs, my preferred dose range.

OP. Considering this is your first active find i think you should fully enjoy that number for your first dose :mushroom2:
Throw whatever myc you have among some freshly hydrated wood-chip and, cross your fingers.

Did you get a completely dry weight before eating or go with the 3g "half wet" i'm guessing your dose was a little higher,NPI :wink: than mine.

II let em dry out but I didnt have access to a scale anymore, guessing it was probly a gram. Also i tossed the myc in a jar with some damp woodchips and it seems to be surviving.

My guess was about that. Would you feel right in doubling the dose?
