Inside my mind.
    #15313901 -

As I sit here in my room, dark and gloomy, I think about the end of all ends. What else could I possibly live for? Maybe the one person in my life who I think might actually care about me. But she is only 4. What does she know about caring for someone such as me. As I sit here and look back to my past, I get nothing but a blank stare. As I do not remeber it. All the "family" trips we had to different places. I dont remeber any of them. The only things that comes to mind are the bad. Being a child of 2 drug addicts. Being left at home as my mom went on her binges. Waking up at night with no one there to hear my screaming. Only to have someone come home to punish me. My clearest memory of when I was a child is the day of my fathers passing. I remeber it clear as day. My "mom" and her boyfriend and myself were about to leave, as my uncle and cousin pulled up. I remember my uncle breaking the news to my mom. He put me in the car, and broke the news to me. I was only 9, and at that point I didnt feel as if I even knew my father. One thing I do remeber about that car ride is not shedding a tear, but yet putting my head down, covering my face, and saying in my head, "YES". As I think back on that day, I still dont know why I said that. I think maybe it was because I felt as though he was never there. Always waking up with no one there. No one caring. I was never actually told of how my father died, though as I got older I realized it was from an overdose. Once I got older, around 17, I wanted to know the pleasure drugs gave someone, and wanted to see how they could have such an affect on someone it would push them to o.d. So I started experimenting. First with weed. Smoked it, sold it, had fun with it. But still, I didnt find the peace in it, to die for. So then I went on to other things. Such as pills. Ecasty, pain killers, uppers, downers. Still didnt see the point. Then it was time for something a little better. Coke. I had about a 2month binge on this. Spent all my finacial aide money on it, but never found that guilty love. Just somewhat fun times, and regret. Then one day I stopped all the bullshit. Went back to the painful life I had tried escaping before. It was the same as before. A bunch of people that acted like they cared, only to see them stab you in the back to moment you turned around. Ive always tried my hardest to please the one man who has been there for me, my uncle. But even now, it seems like that is going no where. The people I bend over backwards for, are no where around when I need something. I've gave up pretty much anything I had going for me, all to help him. School, I quit because I felt he needed me more. Two jobs I had, I quit, because I had to be there for him. Now when I need him, he isn't there, because someone else, who has downed him his whole life, needs him. Now that the one person I thought actually cared, don't, where do I go?

Ive thought about the end a lot. How I would do it, where. Who would care enough to even shed a tear. Would there be a lot of people at my funeral? Would the people that actually did show up, actually care about me? Or are they just using it as a high school reunion? Would I even be thought about enough to get a funeral?

Ive always thought what life is like after death. Since I don't believe in god, as I have no reason to, what happens. I lay there, rot away, and becone food for maggots.

I want to try and pull myself out of the well I have hit rock bottem in, but can't seem to find anything to grab onto. As I see myself in this well, and look up, it looks as if daylight is coming to an end, and darkness is almost upon me. Even though I'm only 23, it feels like life is at a stop. I'm just running in place, and I'm started to get weak. Mentally, emtionally, and physically. I wish I could figure out a way to stop the pain  having to end it all, but I just don't see it.

So now I think to myself, do I go out peacefully or painfully? I dont deserve a peaceful way out. I don't see peace in dying. So painfully is what I think of. But how should it be done. A cut to the wrist in a warm bath, so I can watch my waistfull life slowly leave my body. Maybe a deadly but painful self inflicted gun shot. To where I can feel every last pityful second of my life slowly fade away. Or should I go out with a bang? Take out everyone who I thought was there, but wasnt. But its not their fault, as I let myself get to this point.

Ive been laying here in my bed for the past 5 hours. Haven't came out once. And yet no one seems to notice. I hear everyone in the house laughing, playing, having a good old time. But no one checks on me. Should I end all their fun tonight with a loud bang, and brains spread over the wall, or shall I let them continue to have a good time, as I slowly drift out, from being so over medicated right now. Both options are by my side right now.

If you can post about it, you're not dedicated to the idea....usually would be the case. Seriously, call a suicide hotline, tell someone...they can't read your mind.  You can't expect people to know how you feel. You want to punish others for not caring? It'd piss them off more to have to deal with you recovering than have to deal with your death temporarily, wouldn't it? Have you tried to get help? Tried talking to anyone at all? You can get help, get friends who care, or at least, just care about *yourself* and move away from this shitty situation you're in somehow during counseling or whatever, but it'd be a waste to just end it like this.

This was more of a "to get things off my chest" type deal. Although the feelings are real

Writing is where I try and get things off my chest. I just found this site when searching for things about dying and killing yourself. Although this sure isn't the " I want to kill myself" type of forum, I seen it as a good way to vent. Thanks to everyone who has read, and commented. Although there has only been 2 people that commented, I see a lot more has read this. Obvisiously im to much of a pussy to kill myself, as of now anyways, it still feels good to know some people are listening.

You're reality is in your perception. Understand your perception and go from there. There's a lot of good information on this site.

Ive always thought about trying some sort of drug that wouls pull my soul out of my body, so I could actually look down in myself, and see where I need to go and what I need to do, to better my life. I never really hung around with that type of crowd, and have no idea where the hell I would find anything. I need a true out of body experiance

Thanks a lot for the comment. Last night after reading many of these posts, ive came to a solid conclusion to try and take all the bad, and turn it around. Ive realized im the only one who can change my life. I need to change it. If not for me, then for my little girl. Ive realized I need to change my ways, and live life for her. Being a single father still living at "home", isn't where I need to be. I need to change, and I will change.

Just want to give a thanks to everyone who read a little about my life, and commented with postive thoughts. Also a thanks to everyone who have shared their life story on this site. Really made me realize how great life can be, if you have the will power to change.

I'm glad to hear! You're more open minded than most I’d say. Those are admirable words. You sound like you've got your head on solid shoulders right now. Keep it up man. Likewise the people and experiences on this site have helped guide me as well. Stick around there's some great dialog to be conversed.
Ultimately you said it best, "I" you have the power

Receptive, Open Minded, Passive.

HI, As I read your post I could feel such sadness in my heart, and my whole being was embracing you. I can so feel your poin, and i cannot imagine what you have beeen through, and are going through, even though I sure have had my fair share of the Blues. Though I had a very loving mum, and grandpa--though he could be strict, and when HE dies I kinda put on the grief because a bit of me welcomed more freedom, but I have always felt guilty about that!

I cannot imagine being a child and screaming out for  the love and security that EVERY child needs and not getting it, and this utter lack of love just being part of your life onwards.

I hate these stupid fukin New agers who spout ' you choose your parents, and life before you are born'--like WHO would choose such misery as two drug addicted parents who cannot look after themselves never mind a child, or even worse the horrific experience of a DNA damaged baby, caused by depeleted uranium (I dont know if you have ever seen the truly horrific images of these babies?), or a starving, fly-covered child in some waterless barren land. WHO would choose this hell?

One of the saddest things I read you say was this:
Quote:
So now I think to myself, do I go out peacefully or painfully? I dont deserve a peaceful way out. I don't see peace in dying.

That even after all your UNDESERVED suffering you believe you don't deserve peace. That reminds me of the 'battered wife' syndrome. The pattern usually is that a woman becomes demoralized by her partner, isolated, constantly put-down, and beaten UTIL she feels worthless and feels she is to blame.
I want you to know YOUR ARE NOT, I REPEAT NOT TO BLAME! I deeply wich you understand this and bgin loving yourself. PLEASE don't join the useless wretched dead, soul loss, people that have no empathy and care for anything--not even themselves--and hate yourself. If you do that they have won. Love yourself. Just think---despite the utter hell you have been through, yet you STILL are more caring, and understanding, and loving than the lot of them put together---like your caring for your uncle. PLEASE dont blame yourself because these people are callous and indifferent. They are really victims of these very ugly vile times--which is no excuse, but I am just saying.

It is understandable you want to escape your pain. Your memories, the present, fear for the future--all this can become absolutely horrendous till you dont know whether your coming or going. But all I can say is, i CAN feel you, and I truly hope that despite all the shit your parents and others have thrown at you, you have respect for your STREGTH and SPIRIT--how even despite that hell, you still FEEL, are still human. I so much admire you

Thanks for all the positive reenforcment and words. Ive figured out its time for a change. I need to grow as a man and father and not let my little girl live the life I did. Time to be a grown up, get a job, find a home for us, and live an amazing life. I really needed to just get my emotions out there for others to read. Now that I have positive thought from people who don't even know me, ive realized people do care, and are willing to listen. Thanks again, and everyone needs to guve thereselves a pat on the back for helping saving a family.
