In a frightening example of how the state is tightening its grip around the free Internet, it has emerged that You Tube is complying with thousands of requests from governments to censor and remove videos that show protests and other examples of citizens simply asserting their rights, while also deleting search terms by government mandate.

The latest example is You Tube’s compliance with a request from the British government to censor footage of the British Constitution Group’s Lawful Rebellion protest, during which they attempted to civilly arrest Judge Michael Peake at Birkenhead county court.

Alex Jones is the man.  I don't see anybody else sticking their neck on the line for morality like he does.  He gets big respect from me.  Even though he has some misguided opinions on DMT :lol:

I wouldn't call him a conspiracy theorist either, everything he says and does is backed up, they provide sources.  He won't even touch stuff that can't be verified.

I used to love the guy, as well. Then I started noticing he doesn't offer any options to stopping the issues. He just gets a bunch of people scared and leaves them hanging on what to do.

A friend and I have tried contacting him numerous time to get a protest together, protesting our states representatives signing a trade deal with the Chinese, 9/11 truth protests, public speaking matters, etc, etc, etc.. probably around 25 - 30 times tried contacting him. Via phone, email, personal mail, and never even got a reply back. Not even a "thanks for your interest blah blah blah"

After this I started seeing him for what he really is. He's a fear-mongerer, and a pretty wealthy one at that.

I dunno.  He is a fear monger but it kinda comes with the territory.  Hes fighting the good fight IMO.  They have guests on with solutions all the time.  They support Ron Paul.  They've been doing an "end the fed" demo for the past few weeks.  He does wake a lot of people up the issues.

Hes doing a good job IMO.  What he mainly does is information.  Hes set it up as alternative news media now so that his main job, information but he plays a good role.

TBH I'd feel a lot worse if he didn't do what he does because all these topics I have researched and you feel very alone when theres a media blackout.  Its a dark place to be.  If someone gets up and shouts about this stuff that really matters, even though hes a dick about it, I have to support him.

The Paul Watson referrered to in the OP is an ancient Greenpeacer.
He is not above using carcinogenic chemicals to paint seal pups, and to stain creek waters for protest purposes.
