No one arguing that shrooms are a poison have said that it is a dangerous toxin though.

I consider DMT, mescaline and psilocybin all plant poisons and I also partake in all of them. I love poison.

i understand you what you mean that mushrooms "impair" people, but it's not caused by a toxin which is detrimental to your health, it's a tryptamine binding to serotonin receptors, i don't think poison is a good description

Being high for hours on end having delusions is detrimental to an organisms survival. For example, THC on cannabis flower buds affects insects memory and motor skills making them easy prey for significant periods of time.

well.
you know when you do that exercise thing so you can get healthier!?

you are destroying your muscle by ripping the fibers. when they heal, they heal larger, more solid, etc.

i dare you to walk up to someone in the gym pumping 200 in iron and tell them to stop because its destroying their muscle.

point being is, that it should be obvious that toxins are toxic and cause us to get intoxicated.

it is always wisest to reserach the chemical imbalance you are expriencing to ensure safety, to measure doses wisely. and very important to give yourself a good recovery routine.

but to go without drugs would create alot more maladjustment with alot more people. me personally, i always feel better intoxicated.

Hmm, I can agree with that. I just don't think that they cause any physical damage to the body...I mean studies have shown that. But yeah, they definitely impair your ability to function. No denying that.
