I was being a smart ass, because many need to diffirentiate style based on things that are so subtle or meaningless that it creates a ridiculous amount of genres. No, it wouldn't sound trippier, but the titles and the name psytrance sound like it should be, and Goa is a place in west India

If you check my earlier posts, you'll find a reference to a youtube channel that shows a CLEAR difference between Goa Trance and Psytrance. Psytrance is more metallic and fast paced. Goa is more organic and slower with many different styles based on artist. Hallucinogen and Man With No Name produced Goa albums but they had a clearly different style. Hallucinogen's was more trippier and MWNN was more "morning" and progressive. Dimension 5 was more tibetan/indian style with their album "Transdimensional". When Astral Projection produced Goa Trance back in the day, they were a style in their own right...similar to Hallucinogen and MWNN.

You don't have to like Goa Trance. I couldn't give a shit but what you said about Psytrance being no different than Goa is a fallacy. There is a CLEAR difference. You can search it up yourself.

Goatrance was a term coined due to geographical location... So anything produced OUT of Goa, india was coined psytrance. It's that simple really

That's how Goa Trance started. Later on, people from different parts of the world began producing Goa music OUTSIDE of Goa, India without calling Psytrance. Visit this site for more info on the matter ( http://www.listology.com/karan129/story/best-goa-trance-top-artists-albums-and-tracks )

Ya, because there are scientifically defined melodies and reasons that music sounds like computer grinding garbage. The difference is that hippies like this stuff, and people think it's trippy when my shoelaces(have none) are trippier then this house/techno shit with pretentious names like 'Hallucionogen', 'spiritual healing', 'Astral Projection- cosmic ascension'. Whatever it is, it doesn't sound Indian:rofl: . If I tripped and listened to that, it'd be instant puke. Good for a rave I guess. I'd rather stare at a tree

Psytrance, even sounds like a made up music genre, I guess it has more cred then happycore or something like that though.
