what i used:

1. three colonized BRF cakes sitting on the dresser for a few months, out in the open.
2. a plastic grocery bag.
3. water.

i had these brf cakes on my dresser that had just been sitting there collecting dust. my roommate asked what i was gonna do with those.. i thought they were probably dead, but what the hell. i soaked them in water for about 3 hours, tossed them into the bottom of a plastic bag and sprayed around the inside. tied it off and let it sit on the floor next to all the other trash in my room. a few days later i have some nice looking shrooms!

I threw out a colonized cake, put it in a small rubbermaid container untill the trashman would come. Thought it was contaminated. 6 days later, I was going to throw it in the trash and found 4" pins with the tiniest little caps. My cakes pin better neglected,in the trash, on thier own than they do in my growing chambers!

nice, i threw out a few colonized cakes, i just threw then out on the woods, 7 days later, well you know, also has anyone tied
any out door growing in the upstate NY area ? let me know how things turn out . peace
