what makes you say it's at 92%? are you using one of those pet store gauges? if so, don't trust it. it costs a lot of money to get a gauge that's accurate at high humidities. how much condensation do you have on the walls of the terrarium? if there's a lot, you're close to 100%. if you're casing, you don't even want this much. you want lower 90's, which will have small droplets of water on the walls, usually.if you think it's too low, check your water level, you want the water to be about 1/4 to 1/2 inch lower than the top of the perlite. Who carries a decent hygrometer? I finally found Damp-Rid tm at Lowe's...then I found Wile E. Coyote's ACME dessicant at K-Mart, which looked like the same thing.

Link, If you could, check my other post....(if i new how I would add a link here to send you too it, but I don't).....its titled PICS of the BIRTH, or something like that. Its got a pic of my theometer...I also recalling seeing someone else with the same theometer/humidity gauge on a picture in the Growing section in the Gallery.

pappa, i looked. i dunno, can't tell by looking. i probably wouldn't know a good hygrometer if i saw one, anyway. i just know i've heard many many times that you can't get one cheap that's acurate in the 90-100 range.PsilOwiz, dunno man, never looked. i just judge by the humidity on the sides. works good enough for me. Psilowiz I found this one in a search. It looks pretty good to me I don't have enough money to buy it right now though.
