these were on very dead wood, i picked a flush of honey mushrooms earlier in the rain and these dont compare side by side.

What part of PA are you hunting in?
I hunt in SW PA, never found honey shrooms though, plenty of others though..

My dads favorite way to eat the Honey Mushrooms is in a soup.

that was me brother, i found them in the same mountain 200 yards away earlier in the afternoon. see why im so frustrated??
