6) Colonized substrate and the godlikeness of potential.
7) The chocolaty smell of a coir/verm casing.
8) The first pin.
9) A growing flush, especially in the morning and after returning in the evening.
10) The feeling that nothing else could conceivably go less than right: the fruits of your labor drying safe in their chamber.

I have to add another: the secretiveness. In class and at work the guy feels like he's carrying an exciting secret with him. He likes thinking about who he might want to give some to :grin:.
