Of course this has nothing to do with the fact that I bought two portabella mushrooms last week (fully intending to grill them like steaks) and never got around to it and had to throw them away...


I still trust the grocery store more-so than myself. :laugh:


I don't know about Germany, but grocery stores here have a very limited supply of mushrooms(basically all portobello) that don't taste anywhere near as good as mushrooms that you can find in the wild.
I beer battered the Hericium in my signature, one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. You will not find those in a grocery store.
