Nice, man! Look at that bluing. Are they fairly potent? Do they taste like bitter hell? What kind of camera are you using?

Thanks, those images are captured by a fuji finepix 2650. I have actually not a hand a chance to do a bioassay of those gymns, stamets says they are moderatly active tho, i would guess they are prolly equal to or slightly less potent than cubensis by weight. These grow in a new development where they cut down about a square half mile of fir trees and mulched them all on spot and threw the woodchips in the back of the development, its like a football field covered in clumps of gyms, a few different species in fact but the aeruginosus are the only that are active.

I live up in skagit valley, 1.5hrs north of seattle, on fidalgo island. Its pretty humid here all the time, and at sea level so the temperatures are always very mild. The gyms here fruit in in the spring and then again early fall through early winter.

Heh thanks, yea these range from large to small depending on moisture and temps and whatnot. My camera is doing a decent job, it took awhile to dial it in but it seems to be decent. I still have trouble capturing a decent image without a flash tho but maybe thats just cause we dont have much sun up here these days.

The last few weeks the temperatures have been about mid 40's at night to the upper 40's to low 50's. Lowest temp in april was 35 max was 53. Its been drizzling for like the last week it seems like, this weather is getting to be as odd as our weather was last summer and fall.
