What kinda camera are you using?

Thanks angryshroom thats a fuji finepix 2650...not an expensive camera but for 2 megapixels it does a pretty damn good job. I could rezise the images but often times i find myself overly lazy and messing around with images is somewhat dubious. Anyway i will resize at least a few images this season if all goes well =)

nice pics, the one at the bottom has a huge stem! So were these found on grass that had been grazed on by animals? I know libs can be found on high maintenance lawns because one year the local golf course grass was covered in libs

Theye are growing in grass which has been fertilized with liquid fertilizers. thats how they grow in grass. they are also commn in grass on golf courses along the Oregon Coast but then I once got hit in the leg with a golf ball so I really do not recommend picking shrooms on West Coast golf-courses. They were also common for several years in Marymore in Redmond and at some socker fields in Redmond. They come, grow, stay a year or two and then disappear when different fertilizers are used which are collectd from different pasture and meadowlands and are processed into liquid fertilizers.. In 1976 they were in Woodland Lawn at the Seattle Arboretum for three years but then it was never refertilized. They also grew on several lawns in South Center shopping mall on Boing Lawns in the early 1980s and in 1979 at the Freeway park in their lawns. They are rare in the PNW in lawns but common in pasture lands. In England they can be found on many city lawns and on lawns in public parks. mj And all of the places I cited in this post have not had liberty caps growing there in over 23 tyears so please do not delete any locations from this post. They are only provided as an example that they can appear on lawns at times. Cardboard here has shown such an example. and remember it is rare to find them in lawns. Even the Baeocystis are a pasture mushroom but very few people evr find a single one in a -asture. So are blue Ringers, P. sub fimetaria (=P. sierrae) and P. strictipes all originate in pasturs. but the Baeos and fimetrarias can also grow in mulch and/or lawns. Thank you
