Fremont Zombie Walk!! Beer Fest! Summer Festivals!
    #14702030 -

:zombie2:  :zombie3:  :zombie4:  :zombie6:  :zombie5:

Check it out!
http://www.zombcon.com/2011/02/red-white-dead-zombie-block-party/

Last year we broke a world record with 4,332 people
Hopefully this year it'll get closer to 7,000.

I get to work it, and basically do nothing all day for $100 so it'll be cool, cause afterwards I'm gonna use that money to get wasted :awedrugs:

Also this weekend is the Seattle Beer Fest
http://www.seattlebeerfest.com/Index2%20SIB.htm

Later this summer in Seattle there's Bumbershoot, a huge music festival
http://bumbershoot.org/lineup/

Also can't forget hempfest, possibly the greatest gathering on the planet.
If you haven't heard of hempfest, here's some info
http://www.hempfest.org/drupal/node

Basically it's a giant gathering, where everyone can smoke weed and the cops don't do anything. You can buy pieces, and other cool pot smoking stuff. Here's a pic of the stage I took last year

It's amazing, just sitting among fellow smokers, everyone high as hell, smoking blunts in front of the cops :awehigh:

What cool festivals happen around your home town?

Yea not in Fremont, CA though. Nothing fun or interesting ever happens here. At least San Fran is close, though

I used to live in Fremont. right off of Fremont Ave as a matter of fact (right down the street from Market Time). I've helped out with the Solstice Parade and seen many of the walking dead take over Leary Way and 36th Street.

I always thought of how legit Fremont must have been in the 80's and 90's when artists could actually afford to live there. Now it's mostly just a bunch of rich yuppie fucks from Cali.

Shit, do you remember the Buckaroo? I used to chill there from time to time. That place was classic Seattle at its best. Actually, i took a cool photo of the Buck years ago. Check it:

"We are all intoxicated. We were born into an insane asylum, a world crazy-making. We believe what we see and hear. The real myth is the myth of sanity, of rationality: it's a disease that is eating away at the earth. All the poisons flow from our denial. We deny madness, we forget our crimes, we dismember the corpse, we imprison our children. We need poison to poison the poison, to remember the sacred nature of intoxication, the green body of the young god." ~ Dale Pendell
