Every time I turn around there's an END OF THE INTERNET thread, how does this not apply?

According to reports like this, the internet should have ended years ago.

Because if nothing was done to oppose these bills than they might just pass - and believe me there have been many failed bills which would have had the -potential- to ruin much of what the internet is today. Its an endless fight.

i don't think websites like youtube will just stop streaming all together.  They have nothing to fear from the government they arn't the ones doing the streaming.  The way it will work is they will remove your warning and you will get a "strike".

People don't realize laws and new regulations are made every day.  Sure music sharing has been illegal for awhile and people have treaded a thin line.  But times are a changing, they can and will be able to enforce this law, because the law isn't going to stop here.  This is just 1 part of the puzzle to control the internet.  ID cards will completely cripple any idea of control u guys think u have over the internet.  Even without ID cards you better believe people will be getting strikes left and right from this.  Only a handful of people will take the time and energy to protect themselves "fully"

Thank god for LulzSec. I'm sure they'll enjoy their private little networks, be able to do whatever they want while the rest of us get screwed. Yeah going after Nintendo, Sony, a part of the Senate, and CIA.GOV. That's such a great way to fight for Internet Freedom:rolleyes:

They didn't get any sensitive information at all from screwing with the CIA, either
