Buying Clothes

Feels like I'm buying into some stupid image or another and supporting pure business corporations. I have the hardest time buying clothes period with out feeling at ends with myself.
The only out I can think of is to make my own clothes, any one have any other options?

Don't be a fucking bitch and just buy the clothes.  Stop worrying about other people judging you and buy the clothes you want to buy.  You will always be supporting someones business somewhere, get the fuck over it.  The world is not the happy hippy commune that you want it to be.

Yeah, I was serious.

You might find something interesting now and again at thrift stores but thats not exactly what I was suggesting. It may be more practical to buy vintage if you live in a metropolis of some kind.

I've been to some street markets in certain cities which had a lot of great, stylish old clothes for sale.

But it could be with minimal effort.

I normally just shop for clothes at value village.  Sometimes on my birthday or christmas one of my family members will give me money specifically for clothes or shoes, and that's when I go buy some nice stuff.

I can never really justify spending my money on anything other than food and drugs though lol.  I don't think there's a problem with people being materialistic.  It's vain as hell, but whatever makes them happy in life.  They don't think about all that psychedelic stuff like we do.

Ive been on every place of the spectrum (buying nice clothes, buying only cheap clothes, thrifting for cheap nice clothes, not buying clothes at all) and all i can say is the clothes dont make the man.
It does feel good to look crispy though. Im starting to dress nicer than i used to.

Id never pay MSRP for clothes though. Im almost strictly a clearance shopper and I almost strictly shop at places that have near clearance prices anyway. I like the nicer brand names but I go places like Burlington Coat Factory and Shopper's World to get them....if I cant get 80-90% off I dont bother.
Refuse to pay more than $35 for shoes. Wont pay more than $10 for a shirt...and even then it better be a damn good shirt if im paying that much...usually I wont pay more than 5.

Loll I'm so stoned!  God I hardly ever smoke anymore it hits me hard.  I meant a lot of people that buy really expensive clothes

I also like going to the USA to get clothes too because they're so cheap there.  I live right on the border, I even go for groceries and to put gas in my car sometimes because it's so much cheaper.

idk man i still rock these wayne worlds shorts that are probably 20 years old. its got strings hanging out if it like a fucking guitar but its all good.
