Linux Users: Photoshop?

I'm running Ubuntu 10.10.  I've tried to follow the guides online on installing CS5 but for some reason it's not working.  I run setup.exe and after Adobe Installer pops up and does its thing, it exits and nothing happens.  Any ideas?

i do not know what guidelines you are referring too, but install windows on a virtual machine inside Ubuntu. I do this for photoshop (and other adobe products) at work without any issue. I use Virtual Box with the guest additions and it is seemless.
