Seriously lemon juice with sugar on pancakes, the best invention ever! Give it a go, you might be pleasantly surprised my friend.

As a write this I can say lemon juice isn't tasting good right now :wink:

Lemon zest mixed with powdered sugar is what you want on pancakes.

Ok so I'm now on my second flush, things are looking good.

I've been hoping to put up pictures of my first flush as I got some pretty nice fruits, bearing in mind this is my first attempt. When I have access to desktop I will post pictures.

I made up jars of verm and rye flakes, then spawned bulk using verm and coir with gypsum, cased with verm and coir. My trays only seem to fruit around edges and I can't quite work out why, I think my casing might be uneven, could this be the cause of the problem? Also my fruits tend to like touching the lid, any ideas on how to stop them doing so? I don't want them to get wet and stay wet from touching the lid, could I just put a baggy over the cap?

I have a large heated propogator, I've put a thick layer of verm and perlite across the bottom to even out heat. I've placed two smaller trays containing my bulk sub in it. My small trays have several small holes in them. My lid has holes about two inches from the bottom with polyfil to minimize contams. There are two holes on top to regulate airflow and humidity. I run the heat through a thermostat at 26.c. I keep humidity somewhere between 80-90.

Pretty easy set up, looks the part but isn't massive which is favourable.

Haha cheers :smile: unfortunately they don't exactly taste yummy though... :/ but tbf I'm not a fan of any mushroom!

Any idea what could be causing my pinsets to only appear around the edges and not in the center?

Ok, I tend to fan about every two hours where I can, but I work during the day so its hard to do. I had an idea to connect a small computer fan over one of the larger holes to circulate fresh air regularly, but i can't find a way to run it off the mains, its rips through those 9v batteries in less than a day. Anyone know anything on the subject of how to power the fan without buying batteries?  It's a small 12v dc brushless computer fan.

Yeah, just get a transformer from a phone charger or something like that, try and get as close to 12Volts as you can, try and match the current coming out too or you'll blow the transformer.

Check the diagram on the transformer to see what is negative (normally inside) and wire it up.
I normally don't even bother with solder, just tape it up and your're good to go.

I'm pretty sure someone has a "tek" or writeup of the procedure with pics, just have a look for it.
