Dead cakes? make tea!?

I attempted to cultivate my own cubensis.... but I only had slim success... It was suggested that I crush up the cakes left over and make some kind of trippy tea.

Does this work? if yes, how what is proper procedure?

Very small amounts of Psilocybin in the cake..

Please don't sink to the level of ingesting cakes.
It's disgusting and will have very weak effects, if any.

an old cake probably has a good amount of psilocybin in it but it also would be potentially dangerous to ingest. It might be useful if you did an extraction, however. Give it a shot - check out some of the threads on an ethanol (or methanol) extraction and try it on a bunch of spent cakes.

You'll get a mild body high from an unfruited cake, more intense with a cake that's had 3+ flushes. Don't eat the thing, just grind it and make tea.

Too bad your cakes didn't turn out - why would you want to teabag 'em unless they're shot? If there's green on the cakes, just chuck em.

Instead of making tea from them, toss them in your (or someone else's :smile: ) garden, in a nice shady and moist spot, and see what happens. Quite a real chance mushrooms will actually form, without you having to do anything about it!
