Hey fellow mycologists,

I remember reading somewhere (cant remember where though) that since the brf/verm cakes contain psilocybin you can trip by ingesting them. However, I don't want to eat the verm and be sick for the next couple days, I remember reading a post about making tea out of cakes, has anyone ever done this? How potent do you think it would be from a cake that was inserted into my terranium too early, and only produced 3-4 mushrooms of average size?

I think you can do a cold water extraction. Get cranberry juice, grate the cakes in, and let it sit for a while. Then strain it out an drink. I think that was how you did it. Do a search.

you can do it with tea, I think you'll lose a bit of potency ( might be better with apple juice etc...) grate your cake into the pot with teabag, steep & strain out

I made tea out of a cake once. It had produced 2 flushes, and blued deeply when bruised. I ate 1 gram of fresh TC's, and made tea out of that 1/2 pint cake. I had a very intense trip. I'd say my cake equaled out to about 2.5 to 3 grams of mushies. I'll never do it again. It gave the trip a wierd feeling. (perhaps because i knew it came from a cake. ) But it DOES work.
