Re: this is your govt on tea... [Re: zappaisgod]

Bubble?

No dude.

Above ground reserves of silver are seriously depleted.

http://silverstockreport.com/silvershortage/

But what about the existing above ground supply of silver? Precious metals are held privately, and are not able to be tracked or traced, so nobody truly knows what the above ground supply of silver of might be. However, experts maintain that about 40 billion ounces of silver has been mined throughout all of human history, and that about 90% of that has been irretrievably consumed by industry, jewelry, and photography. Most of the approximately 3-5 billion ounces of silver left is in the form of jewelry, mostly held in India. Silver that is in the form of above-ground, refined, deliverable, identifiable silver is about 150 million ounces, mostly held at COMEX. The U.S. government once held up to 6 billion ounces of silver, but around 2002, the U.S. ran out, and had to buy silver on the open market for its Silver Eagle coin program. The COMEX once had up to 1.5 billion ounces of silver about 10-15 years ago, but today has less than 1/10th of that: 117 million ounces.

Warren Buffet bought 129.7 million ounces of silver in 1997, and "concluded that equilibrium between supply and demand was only likely to be established by a somewhat higher price." Since then, numerous investment analysts and newsletter writers have grown increasingly bullish on silver prices, including: Ted Butler, David Morgan, Jim Puplava, Harry Schultz, Doug Casey, Richard Russell, Jason Hommel, and many others. With the addition of the CFTC and the SUA making the bullish case for silver, what knowledgeable silver analyst or commentator remains left to maintain a bearish outlook for silver prices?

Silver is not a "static commodity, o.k.

It's industrial usage, in terms of quantity and variety thereof, is and has been on the rise.

Only 25% of silver mined every year comes from primary silver mines.

What does this mean zap???

It means that the relationship between silver demand and supply is inelasic...

That means it is certainly not a "static commodity" in terms of price or supply available, o.k.

If you put your ego on the shelf for a while and did some research you might buy some and capitalize on a huge silver upside.....

Go do a shroomery search on silver, o.k.

So, are you going to tie the two together or do anything to support your incredible accusation?  That's a pretty bold claim to be making without any argument whatsoever.

The article says clearly that she was in a recent close race against a tea-party candidate. The likely-hood that this person is not a tea-partier is slim. Until the police release any information on the political motivations of this person it's pretty safe to assume they are a tea-partier.

That's a ridiculous assertion. When we are proved right as probability dictates I hope you feel foolish. Though if that is a zap quote I know from observation that his memory is not so long as to elicit those feelings.

Yeah... your typical Tea Partier lists The Communist Manifesto as one of his favorite books and posts videos on teh intrawebz of himself burning an American flag while wearing a garbage bag as a skirt.

I guess it's too much to hope that you and Jimbotron are feeling foolish now, though.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. Why does it always matter so much what team the fucks that do this wear... CONDEMN the VIOLENCE-- who gives a fuck it it's a Tea Party® or Progressive® psychotic murderer?

Does it make these people any less dead? Or does it get people off that the opposing team now has this "black mark" on their resume that will forever be yanked out as a strawman to harp on political points...

I feel sick about this horror...but it feels even worse to watch people everywhere- and I'm really not pointing this at you guys, I'm just venting here-- talk more about the team this guy supposedly represents than the clear insanity of the individual that did the shooting.

Phred, I went to the link you posted, but the video was not as you described it was a bunch of typical wanker tea party platitudes and nonsense, no video just words to music. Not some dude burning an american flag while wearing a trash bag. This is a typical conspiracy theorist tea party/Alex Jones crazy.

Oh you mean the one where he's wearing a brown hoodie and a mask while lighting the flag on fire with the explanation text in the bottom saying that there is no flag in the constitution and that flag he's burning isn't an american flag for that reason.

Look perhaps he has the communist manifesto on a list of books he's read, but if you look at the video you linked to you will see his rantings are very similar to shit Mr. Al says and not similar to communist ideology.

I'm calling it at that, the guy is a conspiracy terrorist libertarian nutter and he probibly killed those people because his preferred candidate didn't win.

I'm not saying he's necessarily a Leftie. He's quite clearly a wackadoo.

What I am pointing out is that your typical Tea Partier doesn't list the Communist Manifesto as a favorite book or mark as "favorite" a video of burning the American flag. So if you want to continue to pretend this guy is a Tea Partier, you're really really gonna have a tough time persuading anyone else to ride that short bus with you. An Anarchist - no problem. Totally believable. But a Tea Partier? Get serious.
