OP u need to fight this. Stand up for your rights! Fuck those filthy bastards. The lawyer is worth the money. You might even be able to sue for harassment and unlawful imprisonment.

If what you say is true then you were wrong and this was an illegal search and seizure.

Make sure you let us know when u win your settlement mate :sun:

One concern I have is that when the cop talked about getting a drug dog, you said something to the effect of "OK fine". I wonder if that could be construed as consent to search? Just wondering. If it is that's fucked.

No way that's not consent to search and from the sound of it the cop didn't take it as consent either. I've been in the same exact situation with the drug dog threat and told them it was alright - only difference is they stopped where the law restrained them and let me go.

I don't believe so. You can't really consent or deny consent to the dogs. They just do that shit because it's on the outside of the vehicle and not entering it or seeing anything to get a reason to search. It's bullshit though. You're putting human's lives at the stake of an animal. Sure the dogs can smell good as fuck and are right most of the time, but I'm going to walk over to this horse, and if he nays twice you're going to jail, sorry bub. I mean what's the difference? Can you prove in court in any way that the officer made the dog trigger? I've heard many times they do that.

I asked if I was being detained and what I had done wrong. They couldn't tell me, and I think they knew for a fact they couldn't get a drug dog, so they did the only thing they could and had him storm my car. I wish I would've locked it when I got out.

I just chimed in on this thread now, and havent read the past 3 pages, but to the OP - it does appear to be an illegal search, but unfortunately, sometimes if the 'ends justify the means' they will overlook due process. I.e. if they illegally search someone and find a gun then they wont care that it was found illegally. So you may be in a bit of trouble there, its really difficult to say how it will pan out, i would be speaking to a lawyer as soon as you can.

I would also be attempting to get a hold of the police cars dashboard cam or some sort of evidence like that to show you were man handled etc etc.


Look, anyway at the end of the day, you got caught with a pipe, thats nothing, so dont stress over it.

Yeah even if I do get charged with possession and distribution life goes on. I can make the best out of anything. Just being alive is amazing in itself.

I keep of a couple those fake blood capsules in the center console of my car. One time I when I was pulled over , as soon as I saw the lights I grabbed em put them in my nose and popped em. When the cop came up to the window he was like oh god do you need some help. I was like no just a nose bleed. Ive been getting em ever since I was five.

I'm assuming the car is impounded or something at the moment and you can't just clean it all out??

People really need to learn not to be carrying these sorts of things on them in person or in their vehicles, because this is what can happen !!

They impounded the car, but I got it back today. They still have the box. It was in the front floor board of the car that carried me to the jail, and I think the dude that arrested me was on the drug task force. I just hope I can get it all dropped because of their actions.
