Why not just get a Launch Box? You can save $100 and supposedly its awesome for DMT.

Not trying to knock the iolite. I was considering buying one for about a year but then I started doing my research and went with the launch box.

Personally, i don't like the glass done ones for two reasons. Fierstly, i don't get high enough and secondly the vapour tastes yuck when using that type of vapourizer.

Bag vaporizers are the way to go :thumbup: I have never used one before but i've head nothing but good things from friends who have.

I had that same question arise about a year ago and decided to take my smoking to the next level, researched and bought the Extreme vape by 'Arizer'

I have been smoking bud on and off for 16 years and I have never gotten the quality high I get from vaping. 
Still remember the first time.  It was weird at first because Its hard to gauge the amount you take in due to the vapor, well being vapor. But five-ten minutes later I blasted away.
Mos def recommend If you smoke daily  :thumbup:

Yeah I feel I appreciate the feeling much more nowadays. Whereas smoking would just paralyze me and bug my brain out at times.

Yes, you should buy one. But like others said: don't buy a dome vaporizer!
What kind of vaporizer you should get depends on what you want to do with it.
If you want a portable, get a Magic-Flight Launch Box (MFLB).
If you want a home unit, please give more information. Do you want to use it with ab bong or without? Do you want big hits or a better efficiency? Do you want to use it alone most of the time or with many people?

My pops recently bought an iolite. We smoked out of it at Xmas. It was my first experience vaping weed. Keep in mind, we had been smoking this bud for 3 wks, so i was familiar with the indica leaning effects. I preferred it out of a bowl.


I think temperature has much more to do with that. A guy over at fuckcombustion is working on figuring out what cannaboids come out at what temperatures. For the most part

Low temp: Energy
High temp: Drowsiness

I usually leave my unit at a lower heat in the day and turn it up a bit at night. I think it holds a lot of weight. Indica/Sativa still plays a role but I've always said that a sativa can make you sleepy at times and an indica can give you energy.


Yep-- I've read the same, and have experienced the difference myself.

Something about the vape temp affecting delivery of THC vs. CBD.
Apparently the more CBD present, the mellower the high-- all I know is that I usually smoke new green at ~70% heat, and even after it browns and I tuck it away for a sequel in my "half-baked" bottle of recycled meds, when I reload it and hit it with 100% heat, I still get well-medicated.

Dude, a vape is the most important thing for any true cannabis connoisseur- if you've tried it and were unimpressed, I implore you to give it another try, and spend the cash on a good unit. I've only got a Vapo Bros- plain-jane whip-style with a clean ceramic heating element and "analog" heat dial-- but baby she sings to me, and the smell is far lower than smoking, with a wonderful clean high.

Also, despite the confusing statements of some others in this thread, a single load will last me three sessions-- three.

As in, I can get high three times as much off the same weed as I would by incinerating it-- remember that the act of burning destroys more actives than it delivers.

Vaporizers destroy none, and deliver a TON :bongroll:

I haven't checked it out myself to be honest. I've only heard users hear talk about it being hyped up over at DMT-Nexus.

I'm waiting to get some before I worry about how I get high from it :sad:

The only thing I'm currently lacking is a way to vape a huge hit of keif all at once. It works well in the launch box but you can only get so much.

Its also nice that you can save your vape weed and make something out of it whether it be hash or edibles. I have almost 20 grams right now and I'm debating on what to do with it all.

I agree with everyone else on the subject. The dome ones are crap... The best bang for your buck is the box vape with whip. And if you wanna spend hundreds of dollars... the volcano or one similar may be the most efficient.

Personally I love the whip style vapes the best. I spent 70 bucks and got a Dual-whip vaporizer. The reason the dual is great is because you are basically getting two vaporizers in one... So god forbid one burns out(which never happened to mine), You have a back up. and it comes with two whips instead of one... so there's another backup:thumbup: I had it for about year myself. Then gave it to my friend over a year ago, and it still works like new!

thanks everyone for your great advice...but for sure the domes suck thank god someone bought that shit from me I saw some whip style ones on ebay with a ceramic element i think ill go with that i will only be using it at home so portability isent a big deal

I would keep an eye out for a dual ceramic vape. You get twice the equipment for only about 10-15 bucks more. You can share it with a friend like a hookah. Also when you have 2 types of weed, Its fun to put one in each side to compare the taste of the nugs:thumbup:

You *can* absolutely smoke DMT through a vaporizer. Either use a small amount of charred (read: absorbent) charred weed that has had the spice pre-melted into it, or my preferred method is to make a small bundle- maybe 1cm- of single-ply tissue paper that is saturated with the desired spice content.

It's tricky, and you have to be careful. I have never dripped any into my vape, but I can see how using too much or not being careful could get it on your element, which would suck.

Make sure your element temp is maxed out, and hit it sloooow, long, and remember to pull it before you hit max lung cap or you'll end up with vapor sitting in your tube. Hold your breath and release only after 20 seconds or so when you take the next hit.

I have had some fucking amazing experiences this way, with ZERO harshness-- though I suppose that's dependent on the purity of the spice :smile:

I have heard of this working. To be fair, however, I almost ruined a brand new $200 Vapir NO2 trying to vape spice with it. And I was using the sandwich method. So be careful.

What type of vape do you use coAsTal?
