I gotta say I love vaping and I know of all the advantages, but there is something so appealing to me about smoking a blunt or hitting a bong. I really enjoy the act of smoking, vaporizing just doesn't do it for me. But if I'm going somewhere/don't want to smell bad in public I'll definitely vape. It's all a matter of personal taste. If you prefer to smoke, smoke. If you prefer to vape, vape. I don't tell people how to do their drugs :smirk:

No, its expensive to purchase ( if you want a good one) it takes more weed for the same high. And well yea if you want to smoke weed as healthy as you can.

man.. takes more weed for the same high?  was that really your experience?  because that is the polar opposite experience of like everyone else.  ever.  the most popular reason people switch to vaping (other than perhaps health reasons) is for the increased efficiency.  interesting.

i've got an aromazap vaporizer.  it's an interesting design and there's definitely an art to hitting it.  but i fucking love the thing.  one tiny bowlpack will get me fucking lit.  i use it with a small bong to cool off the hot air coming from the unit.  beyond smooth.

See I've always thought blunts were a waste so I guess it makes sense why I like vaping. I would also personally suggest against the iolite. I think that the magic flight launch box is a better bang for your buck.

This thing is BEYOND stealth. I have hit this in some sketchy ass spots in broad day light. Its very simple to use and doesn't involve butane (which is never good).

the main drawback of the magic flight launch box is the fact that it tears through the batteries.  one battery will apparently give you between 5-15 hits, depending on how large and/or efficient your hits are.  so you have to take care to make sure you've always got rechargeable batteries in rotation.

that said, i really, really fucking want one.  i've read nothing but good things about it.  and it even matches my aromazap in design.

How smooth is the magic launch box compared to electronic vapes? I feel like those are harsher and smokier, and I'm heavily spoiled with my Vapir.

you're the one who actually made me realize that i could vape through a bong.  that was crucial in maximizing the potential of my vape.  before that realization, i was having some qualms with throat irritation due to the long, hot, dry draws.

i combine the two differently though.  i simply invert my vaporizor and press it directly against the glass stem (minus the slide).  then i move it away from the stem hole to clear.  the little plastic mouthpiece thing makes a pretty good seal against the glass stem.  feels so much better on me lungs and throat.

I'm actually the minority, using tubing + GonG adapters.

The large majority of users invert like you do, the best setup for inversion I've seen uses a "stubby" vaporstem that's like 1 inch long, really stable.

I have the same type of setup - Extreme V-tower with GonG adapters.  It's :vaped:

Sorry man that was my experience
Did it a couple of times, no shortage of places to buy bongs and vaps here.
Didn't like it sorry. Different people different views. i rather roll a pure stick.

I thought the batteries would be a big deal at first too, but its really not that bad. It comes with two and if you buy a pack of 6 rechargeables that's 8 batteries. Leave two in your room, two in your car and two somewhere else. Charge 'em all when they're dead and repeat.

I really like the launch box for vaping keif. I've always felt my VaporBros let me down in that respect because I had to put it on top of bud.

But yeah the glass on glass (or GONG just got that ) is the best way to vape. I took a rip last night that was the largest hit I could possibly take. Lung MAXED out. I'm really starting to notice that the dryness of my bud has a lot to do with how it hits. It gets you more goodies too in your grinder!

No, definitely do not get a "dome" vaporizer (most probably a BC vaporizer). They work on conduction, wasteful, burn the product, taste like shit and all round fail.

Look at the popular whip vaporizers (vaporbrothers, dabuddha etc.), or some of the portables (vaporgenie, iolite, launch box etc.).

If you have ~$250 to spare the Extreme is a good choice too because it covers whip + bag.

My pops recently bought an iolite. We smoked out of it at Xmas. It was my first experience vaping weed. We smoked 3 bowls of my mainly indica mids, and i felt it gave more of a sativa like high to the pot. Keep in mind, we had been smoking this bud for 3 wks, so i was familiar with the indica leaning effects. I preferred it out of a bowl.

I think temperature has much more to do with that. A guy over at fuckcombustion is working on figuring out what cannaboids come out at what temperatures. For the most part

Low temp: Energy
High temp: Drowsiness

I usually leave my unit at a lower heat in the day and turn it up a bit at night. I think it holds a lot of weight. Indica/Sativa still plays a role but I've always said that a sativa can make you sleepy at times and an indica can give you energy.

^^^ Exactly what i thought. I don't believe the temp was adjustable on the iolite.
