My tub is awesome. My need for automated adaptability and consistency to grow pans in freezing conditions paid off. I've spent prob $100-150 total and simplified it enough where I can keep it all in one tube for everything.
Basically its a mono tub built from a Tub-in-Tub. I have full adjustability from 75 degrees up and the water stays constant temp. I have 3 inches of water in the monotub as well. It has peroxide in it and a submersible ultrasonic humidifier for reptile houses which has auto shut off when the water is low. I have a digital thermometer with a 30 inch lead going down into the tub into the substrate (after wiping down with alc) which tells me internal substrate temp without me having to look in the tub. I have the entire thing primered to block out light except one strip along the top. I have a sunlight tube on a 12/12 timer laying over that so it shines in the clear part and contains the light.
All of this is inside a large dark rubbermaid which also has room for all my timers and the power strip. its heavy lid has 4 locks on it which serve as hinges when one side is unlocked. Everything is contained and clean. I make trays that float in the second bath/humidifier h2o reservoir. keeps temp steadier and keeps the inside of the tub more sterile. Its purpose is to recollect the condensate without needing messy perlite to line the bottom.
The tubs all have specifically placed holes for ventilation. I have a fan on timers which I use for fruiting. I use another tiny tub with the bottom cut out to limit the humidity of one tray or the other. it has holes like a shotgun tub but keeps mist off the tray. the top is open.
This tub kept a steady 80-85 degrees in a garage when it was 4 degrees outside. My garage got left open by my brother in-law and it didnt dip below 70. Full adaptability. Im going to fruit pans and amazons side by side in it just to get the bugs out. They went into fruiting conditions this week.Even if the cubes dont like the compromise between pan/cube fruit conditions the pans will be mostly done when the cubes are ready (they're close but just a little behind).
If anyone else is trying a setup like this Id love to hear about it. can post pics if Antone's interested. sounds busy but its not, it's cleanly laid out and efficient. Not tryin to reinvent the wheel either, I just had special requirements and this is what came of it. Was moving it today and realized Ive got a pretty cool setup and want to share it with you all.
I am taking pics of the grow so if no one responds to the tub you'll at least be able to see some of it from pin to harvest at the end.

Main chamber open with digital thermometer showing internal temp of the pan cyan tray.

This is how it looks during the photo period. Normally the lid contains all the light it puts off (sealed up)It is still ventilated though.

This is the pan cyan tray and the amazon tray almost at the end of the spawn run. The submersible humidifier is glowing in the bottom left. The foil is a shield to keep the stream from the ultrasonic from flooding the tray. It would normally have polyfill but Im not at that point when the pic was taken so theyre still taped up. The holes for the polyfill go through both tubs in the same spots.

This is the bottom layer of the tub-in-tub, showing the heater and a grill mate intended to keep the top tub from resting on the heater.


This thing has an adjustable thermostat on the heater, automatic humidifier, timed air movements and lighting. I know theres tons of sweet set-ups out there and Im not the only one with automation but I am impressed at how well it did with such fluctuating conditions. My next step will be to see how hard it is to keep cool. It did awesome with a B+ cake I was given but it wasnt worth taking pics of I kept eating them.
  Ill post flush pics in a week or so, hope they come in strong...

*update*
had an accident with the humidifier, cost me one tray. The jet that shoots off the ultrasonic was slowly splashing on the tray of amazons. It got trich and then contammed the tray of pan cyans. Ive never used Hippie3's bleach tek and figured Id give it a shot. This concentration is prob too much but I filled my spray bottle 20% (1/5) with dollar store bleach and the rest dist h2o.

Bleached one small spot on the pans a couple times for two days, spot vanished and the pan myc went ape-shit. I had to add a little more casing, only enough to cover 60% of the white. The amazons got better, then worse then better then way worse over three or four days. Had to  backyard-tek it.

I was not showing any progress with primordia formation until I stumbled upon a post in which RR tells a guy to crumple up wax paper and lay it over the casing. Genius... I did it on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning I had a pin as big around as a pencil and about an inch tall. It seems that it works by holding much more humidity near the casing while I can provide the air exchange more often. Before I was battling with the +fae+/95+ rh paradox. Genius...Seriously next day results.

So this is where Im at- These are from a friend who tried em and everyone said they weren't pans. It was a vendor spore syringe, Im confident they are but well see. He only got a few fruits and they all looked different. I have about 15 pins I see between the casing chunks so Ill keep this updated. I also re-spawned a bunch of shit with two more 100% amazon cakes I had going to waste. Ill post those too.

15 hours later
first guy up is getting tall and thick

little pins coming up past the second casing layer, coming in all over now

full view of the whole tray, the camera picks up the light brown pins well.

I had tons of stuff going on so in this pic there's Colombian rust spore that I grew in a desarono bottle for decoration, the main tray is some kind of cubensis that I received by mistake from one of our very cool vendors. The larger orange "bowl" is oakridge as well as the little jars in the top left. The smaller orange bowl is golden teacher. I had a lot of projects and my girl was getting fed up with me so I scrapped a bunch and now I have all these coming up at different times.


These jars are actually both the same oakridge cake broken in two. I mixed in a little shit and some leftover pasteurized shit water. There are at least two distinct phenotypes, the dark brown wood looking round ones and the light golden wispy ones. This was from multispore so I think Ill be transferring each to agar for isolation.

Heres a closeup of the gt pins just coming through. They almost look see translucent in real life... Ill post more when they come up, didnt think anyone was following :P  The last flush was only seventy grams from the main tray wet. Dry weight from first and second was only 11.5 combined. I really wished it would be better but that tray took some abuse early on. Also it looks wetter than it really is, this peat doesn't absorb as fast.

got a lot of second flushes coming this week Im keeping my fingers crossed that Ill get some monsters but until then Ill just keep posting each kind that comes up. still waiting on the c.r.s.

some golden teacher that came up. thought with how deep that bowl is they would grow taller. Maybe i need more co2...

this is a mutation from the main tray which was an isolation from a mutated "mystery cube" looks like the bottom of a small dick, or like its got a vagina-either way genitalia. thats what Ive decided after careful deliberation while smoking a bowl through my new piece. like i said genitalia.

here's a 22.5g  monster almost a foot long from the main tray. it was mutant too, asymmetrical oval-ish cap. not so noticeable but that was a trait displayed in the parent strain.
