and the taste is actually almost pleasant, very mushroomy. it is though like eating leather in texture.

i don't see why people say it tastes so bad:shrug:

Reishi isnt meant to be eatin like that but used in brews.


I absolutely love the taste of reishi tea.

Best way  IMO  to enjoy reishi tea is to boil it with 10 jujube fruit.

i didn't cook it, just took it out of the cardboard block. but i don't think you can ever soften this thing with cooking or any other method.

yeah, the tea is more bitter than just chewing it, but i don't think it's unbearably bitter.

it's also a very pretty mushroom on the inside, leather brown with darker lines like a piece of wood. perhaps i'll make something out of it, like a box:lol:

what's jujube fruit? i guess it could really make a nice tea with something sweet.

My favorite way to prepare reishi is through a decoction (tea), I drink it alone or use it as a base for smoothies.
