the majority of you would be dead if it were 3000 years ago.  odds of living past 5 were slim and living past mid to late 20s was quite rare too.  A mild cut these days was a huge deal back then.  We are much more cleanly and have better medicine.

Fuck that, I'd be alive. Part of the reason we probably live longer is because we come from the people who survived back then, not the ones that died at 20 or whatever. And I thought people lived longer than to mid 20's 3000 years ago. I thought it was farther back that people generally died at 20. I'm probably terribly wrong, but that's what I thought.

And I don't think it's fair to say a mild cut would be a big deal back then. I could get a mild cut, live outside for the next week without sterilizing the cut, and it wouldn't be a problem, so why would it then? I'm not a historian though, so enlighten me if I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about.

Dude are you serious? We are WAY WAY WAY better off today, even the poor. Sure, some people made it to 50! Most died before 40. Many before 30.

what is this dental health you speak of? i don't brush my teeth regularly and only on ocasion swish some listerine in there and i have far better breathe than some people ive fucked and what not...
