Wouldn't it be cool if it were 3000 years ago?
    #13623898 -

That would be a lot of fun. Wilderness, moses, etc. Maybe I'll move to Siberia and give up technology. Should be the same, more or less, yeah?

That would be so interesting to go back in time like that.
I don't know about Siberia being the same experience though...

I think about that all the time. But then I realize that it would not be that interesting. It would be more interesting to go 3000 years into the future. :smirk:

What was the life expectancy back in the moses era? I know that moses lived to be 900 or so, but for everyone else? Fending off animals, gathering food, no medicine, etc must have been a bitch

Life was a lot more brutal 3000 years ago. Weather, transportation, feeding yourself, lack of plumbing, and all the other shit people take for granted.

A lot of people have a romanticized view about living without technology, but it would probably just suck- especially if you're not accustomed to it.

Don't get me wrong, I love camping and usually spend a few weeks a year out in the woods. But- I wouldn't want to live everyday as a fight for survival.

yeah the indians had some good times. pitty our small pox and such killed a slew of them off..
i often wonder what the first indian thought after he ate that magic cacti or shroom the first time. hmmm..
i'd have to live somewhere tropical if we went back that far. dunno about the moses thing though....if he knew what michal jackson was he'd probably kill you for even having that in your sig...btw..
hey anyone ever think that since psychedellics build dendrites in our brains that maybe some cave person ate a bunch of shrooms and started thinking more than the other cave men? i dunno...
but if i went back in time that far, i'd put acid in everyones water and create my own relgion and brainwash the shit outta people...something like mormanism but actually cool and decent...

3000 years was well before the honkies came with their 'special' blankies to get the redman warm.
