What was the life expectancy back in the moses era? I know that moses lived to be 900 or so, but for everyone else? Fending off animals, gathering food, no medicine, etc must have been a bitch

Life was a lot more brutal 3000 years ago. Weather, transportation, feeding yourself, lack of plumbing, and all the other shit people take for granted.

A lot of people have a romanticized view about living without technology, but it would probably just suck- especially if you're not accustomed to it.

Don't get me wrong, I love camping and usually spend a few weeks a year out in the woods. But- I wouldn't want to live everyday as a fight for survival.
