Too mature to eat?
    #1361307 - 03/09/03 06:39 PM (21 years, 1 month ago)

Mysterious Dr. X had to leave his mushies for three days. When he left, they were semi-small and had not broken their veil. When he returned, he found one that had turned up its cap, practically making a little bowl, and the cap had turned darkish-brownish, and feels slightly slimy to the touch. However, there doesn't appear to be any signs of contams, and after a close smell, Dr. X did not notice anything other than the beautiful aroma of fresh mushies. Is there any point when mushies become too old/mature to eat?
