i want to find a roomie in the colorado highcountry..

i'm thinking about going there for a while to work. i really just need a break from the suburds in texas.. & i love to ski. steamboat, winterpark, breckenridge?

It's a great state-
but if you want to live in ski country, you need a ski talent or winter job.
There's not enough jobs up there for everyone that wants to ski free for a season.

well not really, i have two potential jobs in the area. one in denver and the other in grand county. i don't have much money and would like to find someone there to help me save a bit..

i'm open to any suggestions on where to look for work if you know anyone that needs it. i'm bilingual and teach both english and spanish. one of the jobs i'm waiting on is a management position for a building company in silverthorne.

You have any sort of certificate or degree in Spanish?
That's a salable skill, interpreters are in demand.

meh, i like working on my own holding private lessons. i have my ged and tefl ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teaching_English_as_a_foreign_language ) certificate with endorsements to teach young learners and business english.

Trouble is that in ski country, every niche like that for this year was filled last year or the year before.
You can work down in Denver and drive up or down, but that's a PITA.

i love working in colorado. i did a log home once, up by the gore range, it was awesome. i'm trying to reconnect with that contractor again to see if he can fit me in with a management position.

That'll be nifty come springtime. Lots of jobs in Colorado, just not in ski country during ski season.
