yah i forgot about bread, if he makes his own bread $5 will get him 2 bags of flour enough for at least a month im guessing

Yep, he can make his own pizza dough and his own pasta from it too.

3 birds, 1 stone, cheap as fuck... just need a little bit of passion to do it yourself.

You can eat like a king for $5, for an entire day, let alone 1 meal.

People have just lost touch with raw products, in-season produce and undervalued meat cuts... shit is really cheap and delicious.

Never said I personally had a problem with raw veggies, in-season produce or undervalued meat. I'm actually planning a garden for next year so that I can over-come this burden of commercial fruits/veggies. But in the mean time, whatever I can afford is what I afford. Which as of now, (just moved back in with parents so I can continue going to school,) is slightly more than normal, but keeping my family on budget with good food in the fridge is a hard task that they don't seem to be able to grasp.

The sad fact of the matter is that sometimes you have to seek assistance.

Just get used to skipping it and pigging out once you get home, what I always did when I was in school. Costs nothing :shrug:
