"Pins?" "no. mycelium!"

okay so.. those cakes were fruited like a week and a half a go and the story kind of goes like well. they have this weird ass mycelium growth. they are jetting out what you would like to think are pins but its like strange looking spikes, some twirl, one of them even is like kind of a fan. spores are supposed to be of the PF Classic variety. fruiting temperatures. 68-70. the stupid hygrometer wont work in there but tests have been done on the terranium before and it was well at 95-100 %. lights going good. it hasnt reached two weeks yet.
what are anyones suggestions on this scenario? could the case be that its overlay... un maturing mycelium... degenerate possibilities? some people just dont know what the fuck to do, and should be slapped for disgrace. i leave it on the floor.

well, commentary and criticism would be GREATLY appreciated. dankeschon!

How did you measure the humidity before?

hygrometer/thermometer. it is the indoor variety, and when it was left it in there for too long it turned off. too much humidity, you could see rust forming on the screws, the battery (nodes?) were turning green. terranium humdified by perlite and a bubbler system.

Sounds like healthy rhizomorphic mycelium. Have you cold shocked? If not, I would recomend doing so .

Oh, I forgot to ask about air exchange.

ooo the air exchange... yeah the bubbler satisfies that Mostly. but fanning once a day has been the norm as of late. not sure how to go about cold shocking... fear that clumsiness will occur and bad results to respond. but maybe that will be done in the next few days, if no signs direct otherwise.

This guy I know just placed his cakes in clean jars in a garbage bag in the box the jars came in, and cold shock/dunked them in the fridge for 12 to 24 hrs. This seemed to work really well without any contamination.
