You guys are making me sad.

Fucking stupid Queensland/Australia with no snow :crankey:

Went to Queenstown/NZ earlier this year, first time ever skiing, Coronet peak.

4 days and I was linking parallel turns on blue runs, was absolute heaven, only activity that beats skydiving and I love my freefall. To top it off, it wasn't even powder, it was icey as fuck and it was still heaven... can't imagine what powder is like.

Makes me feel bad everyday when I remember it  My main goal in life atm is getting into a situation where I can ski everyday.

nothing better than boarding and smoking a blunt on the lift up

Hell yeah! :vaped:

It's fun to board on low doses of acid too. :tripping:

I can't wait for it to start snowing here. We don't have any snow ye and none of the slopes are making snow. Temps still getting in the low 40s next week. :crankey:

Lutsen Mountains in Northern MN is pretty sick. It has 4 different hills and its the only resort in the Midwest with a gondola.

I stayed there for 4 days a couple years ago. Not the best hills for snowboarding since there's not many jumps or rails, but there are tons of different runs to explore

www.lutsen.com

(edit: I should have read the thread first... I see a couple people have already mentioned Lutsen.)

My buddy just started his job at the ski resort.  I was going to work with him but this wrist injury stopped me.  D:

I need to move my ass out to the mountains real soon

:wtf:
Lutzen is pretty nice.
If you're in the cities, Afton will hold you over until you can get out to the mountains.

I can't wait to hit the slopes. I only went once last year. I lived in Colorado for the first half of winter and I didn't even get out to the mountains. I disappoint myself.

Never been to afton but it's kind of far away from me so it's not even worth it.

Live in Minnesota, where snow is abundant. However, I mostly like it when it first falls and coats the world in a beautiful white blanket. :awesomenod:

After that, it just browns, and looks decadent.

This video kicks ass... So does the music. Personally I've never tripped + rode, but I sure have toked and rode and it's awesome. Even the falling, it feels so cool.

First experienced this last winter as I'm not a boarder by nature. But it was groovy.

I have some old school 411 vids with some sick powder runs that I'll have to rewatch.

Oh, and I totally had a dream of boarding last night. It was sick!!!

Yeahhh those boarding dreams are killer.
Actually I have dreams of taking acid all the time, the other day I tripped + rode in my dreams... It was kickass, I was going down a wooded slope that had huge snow covered rock jumps and just enough trees to make it pretty but not dangerous, so I could go full speed... The slope never ended and I just flew. Awesome dream.

I can't wait to low-dose some shrooms and ride backcountry under a full moon.  I can't wait to hit my favorite run in CO, 7 Mile.  Guess how it got it's name...
