1st bulk grow

Here's some pics of some cakes I just got done dunkin and rolling.





On the left are PES Hawaiins and on the right Costa Ricans. You can see on the left one of the Hawaiins were growing invitro. The ones in the middle have been dunked but flushed already once (Gt/Cambo).

Lookin good, those ones in the middle look like they've been through hell and back! How much perlite is in there. Looks like overkill to me!

Thanks the perlite seems to work alright, I usually have more because when I rehydrate I lose alot. Makes it less of a hastle but I'm trying to move on to bulk and say goodbye to the sgfc and cakes

Yea the ones in the middle look a little warn but they sure did smell good when I dunked them. I did let them dry out for 2 weeks after the first flush. I'll probably toss em if anything.

The only recommendations I would have is to keep it elevated off of the surface it is sitting on, to add a 6,500 K lamp, and to use chunky perlite instead of the really fine stuff.

I also like to keep a thermometer and hygrometer for the room the tub is in though I never bother to put a hygrometer inside of a tub. ~P~

Yea, there's 3 jars I have placed on the chair keeping it  elevated. There's a light hanging above it also. It's a daylight floro but you just can't see it in the pic.

My hygrometer is a POS. I did fine without it but I will be getting a new one.

I can't wait til these are done.



I'll be attempting to clone to agar, isolate, then go from agar to grain in a GB for now. I already have everything necessary.

So I shook the jar on the left 2 days ago and its starting to recolonize already. Also I shook the one on the right today, when I went to do so I noticed the jar I had originally shook is cross threaded and the lid isn't on right,lol. It's been shook and is recolonizing. I think I'm just gonna leave it be lol :thaaannks:

Shook another quart on 11/26. So that's 3 out of 5 shook now. The 1st jar is regrowing and looks almost recovered from the shake I suspect another day before any new pictures.

*11/27
Shook the rest so that's 5, the 1st and 2nd jars are showing nice growth all over the. Recovering very well.

Well as you can see the pics of the rye berries on the 24th and note the dates shook. Here are the jars now almost fully colonized. In about a day or 2 they will be. Another week an a half I'm guessing til you could spawn 5 full quarts:thumbup:


   


 

These jars were inoculated on 11/10, so it took 3 weeks to reach this. Also there are 5 quarts of hawaiins not to far behind at 2 weeks after inoculation.

The 2 Jalisco that were inoculated 3 weeks ago didn't do anything. Guessing it was a bad syringe. I resoaked the rye and pc'd it again and knocked it up with some malabar. Thinking about 1 1/2 cc each. Didn't really pay attention just kinda squirted it around the edge of where the quart and rye meet and then a little over the center and didn't shake jars after but instead kinda just got it so the grains only on the top kinda rolled around coating itself in the solution injected.

Also going to attempt to clone either PES Hawaiin or CR'S because that's whats going on with the sgfc atm. If I can get it on agar ill try and isolate the fast growing myc but that's getting ahead of myself. Probably won't see a good pinset for about a week. Although I've been picking few that have popped up early. Just waiting for the desired specimen atm.

Looking good. Don't know if recycling your rye was a good idea, standard practice is to toss anything that doesn't produce, but we'll see. :popcorn:

Oh yea i know. I just wanted to see if I could pull it off. I don't see why not cause it was sterile and nothing grew. Probably was bad spores. I'm gonna let them know, they'll prob send another since the original order was for many more and they were all good but the jalisco. The only concern I have is the texture of the rye from being soaked boiled and pc'd twice. It's a gamble but I think I can do it.

If it doesn't grow its not a big deal. Just kinda wanna see if I can pull it off.

The malabar is showing growth. The rye I initially inoculated with Jalisco 3 weeks ago resoaked, simmered, and pc'd.

Shook the malabar today.

The hawaiins are pretty much done but ill give it an extra week to consolidate before spawning.

Also just prepared coir and verm and waiting for it to cool before spawning my PR quarts.

Spawned colonized rye to a 1:3 ratio of coir/verm.

Also the cakes in the middle of the shotgun contaminated after putting out some nice fruits but not before print were taken. I tossed them out probably 5 days ago. Now have Equador, Pesh, and CR in the fc.

8 more equador cakes about ready to birth along with 2 more CR's and the pf classic is fuckn pinning invitro like a mfkr, it's sick. Big fat white nice wite stems.with tiny little pin heads. I have a feeling the pf classic is gonna be good.

I do have another syringe of the pf I could use for bulk but all this shits ms, probably wouldn't even be the same genetics. If it goes good I will clone and isolate .

Just thought I'd post some bs pics of my fc. Monotubs sitting aside colonizing in a trash bag atm. I'll check it on the 24th.



Just some Costa ricans and equadors fruiting and picked this little guy for you guys:thumbup:



The 5 quarts of Hawaiian are about ready to spawn. The 2 jars of malabar are doing good.

The malabar are the jars I originally knocked up with bad Jalisco spores over a month ago. After 3 weeks of no growth I thru in the towel but decided to try something. I took the grains that were in the jar for 3 weeks but had no growth and resoaked, boiled and pc'd and knocked it up with malabar I figured why not its still nutritional. Only things I was worried about was the texture of the grain and washing all the starches out but it seems to be doing good. I shook them a few days ago and it is now almost fully colonized as well.

I also have more cakes pinning invitro that need birthed.

Well, I've never had either of those varieties

and all I can say that I love Oakridge and KSSS.

1.5g Oakridge can do wonders, I was surprised.
