Apparently, he had a cocaine problem and alcoholism... spouse troubles, too... along with bipolar. Probably not the smartest idea, but it's good that he's doing something.

what do you mean they disallowed muay thai knees? It's kickboxing, not a tickling competition

I got really upset too being a big fan of Muay Thai.

The change has been great though, improved the pace of the fights and the knockout ratio.

This is definitely FOTY (in ANY combat sport, not just K-1), you shouldn't be missing these amazing fights because of a silly rule change.

Haha, he retired the only person who beat him with a broken nose in their 3rd fight. His only two losses were decisions to that guy. He's the motherfucking troof and I knew it the first time I saw Bloodsport. They should arrange a fight between him and Fedor, even if it's just for lulz.

haha, it would be cool to see van dame get into fighting and stuff. Brock lesnar did it and look at him.

That was a great fight Chubba. Have you guyse seen serkan yilmaz? hes a k-1 fighter with amazing kicks and combinations. really exciting fighter to watch.

From where I'm standing, they gutted the sport to make Thais less successful.

But anyway, this thread should be about JCVD getting his old ass kicked by a can.

Is it strange that every time I see your avatar I just kind of stare at it for about 5-10 seconds? I swear to god, every time. Nice acronym, by the way. JCVD? lol. I think they could have picked a better opponent than a guy who won gold in the olympics... someone, say, that's more on his level. Like Jose Canseco. That would be a good fight.

I didn't know he was a legit fighter.

20 Wins (20 knockouts), 2 Losses , 0 Draws. And both of his loses were Decision, not KOs or TKOs.
