Inocybe curvipes from Jalisco, Mexico
    #13493406 -

Growing in a mixed pine/oak woods at Sierra de Quila, Jalisco, Mexico.

Cheilocystidia is not very abundant, but not rare either. On the gill edge there are some thin hyphae that are similar to very thin cystidia.

ID’d by Brandon Matheny. Inocybe key for species with elongated nodulose spores here: http://www.mycologia.org/cgi/content/abstract/96/2/295

Brandon said “The weakly nodulose spores and characteristic shape of the pleurocystidia are diagnostic.”

This post was generated from a MO observation with this script, which puts the comments for each image after the actual image.  The script works well under Linux, OSX, Solaris, HP/UX, BSD, or Windows with Cygwin installed.

Why not?  What does it say when you try it?

I just copied/pasted it from this post and it worked.

You need to go to a MO observation, click view source, save that to a file and then run the script on that file.

I wasn't sure what it was, to be honest. I thought it was something that was gonna be parsed by your web server. Thanks for the information.
