WHich djembe should I get?

Ok so im lookin for your help shroomery on my next djembe purchase. There are 2 im lookin at via craigslist. One is a TOCA synergy mandjani 13" http://www.vintagedrum.com/item/Toca-Synergy-AMD-13-Mandjani-African-Djembe-Drum-13-MA-TCAMD-13 for 100 bucks.
And the other is a toca hand cannon 14" for 110 (which doesnt seem that good of a deal considering the site is selling it for 130, but i saw other sites selling it for like 200. http://www.guitarcenter.com/Toca-Freestyle-Cannon-Djembe-with-Bag-103923322-i1141725.gc
So which do you guys think? IM deff leaning towards the first one because the price online is alot higher then he is asking, and he said he paid 350 for it. ANy experience with these? Or should i get a different one all togeather. 100 bucks is about all i have

Djembe is a cool sounding word, so I urge you to get a didgeridoo with one.

I would love to get a didgeridoo, that wuld be soooo coool. But i only have 100 bucks....

He is tearing that thing up. If I had one of those I'd need a lifetime supply of some psychedelic. I'd also have to abandon everything and just busk 24/7 because I wouldn't want to do anything else.

yeah hang drums are sweet. I love the shpongle live dvd where the dude, manny i think his name is, comes out to play his part for the track nothing is something worth doing. So beautiful

DO you know anything about tuning or what not. he said its rope tuned, does that mean I need to tune it more or can tune it more?  I dont really know much about it.

I think you should go to a music store and play them before you buy one. A lot of djembes sound, feel, and play a lot different. Guitar Center usually has a few. I bought a hand carved djembe from a local percussion shop for about $130. Best purchase ever

If it's really between those two I'd go with the first one because of it's made of wood whereas the other one is synthetic. Plus it has hair on it. I think those feel a lot better, but seem to give it a lower sound. Honestly I'd definitely think about playing a few different types to see what fits you best.

Thats a great idea that for some reason i didnt really consider. Thanks man, ima go to like Sam Ash and guitar center tmrw and try a few out.

you really shouldnt untie a djembe if you don't know the ropes.

Djembes are everywhere, study up before you buy one.
