Transplanting Fl Cubes to Medford Or.

so here i am a born floridiot and flyin up Medford Or. as my new home when the plane lands and i think my fl spores would do great around Rouge Valley,heres the kicker tho,i havent been there yet.if anyone is from the area who knows if there cow pastures around plz let me kno if i have a general direction i can find em thx for any input.and ill be transplating fresh spores,colonized mycil.,and fruiting also. as fast as the weather warms i want to have them out.:sun: thx.

This might work, but I am unsure.  I have seen cubes fruiting in gardens at the 41st latitude.

well i dont wanna get into too much detail on open forums but ill make it work its just i think she'll do best if i can find some cow shit from the area and do a controlled transplant in the back yard but im just a little worried about the rainfall around rouge valley but just outside in the right place would be nice

You're probably not going to have a whole lot of luck, although it wouldn't be impossible necessarily. I'd imagine somebody with the right knowledge of mycology could get some of them to pin but I doubt they'd grow very well in the Rogue Valley.

Better off growing cubes indoors and trying to start a bed of cyanescens, azures, or some other woodlover outside.

well the whole thing is that indoor is fine gotta redo set-up anyways just Or. needs a bad ass cubie patch somewhere moreless an in depth expir. with extra spores and the like. i think the state could use a new introduction 2the wild from the wild here,if theres somewhere just outside or around the valley but if not damn cant hurt to hope right lol.but thx 4the input so far guys.

Good luck, but like we said above it will be highly unlikely anything will fruit. Experiment though! Mushroom cultivation still has a lot of room to grow....

Medford and the surrounding areas can be pretty damn warm in the summer, but its generally pretty dry. There are plenty of cows. I wouldn't be surprised if this worked.
I wouldnt be surprised if it failed either. Try a humidity tent.

hey I live near the area and have stuff to start a bed of Psilocybe cyanescens and would sure love to get a hold of some of those florida cubies might even know where some good cow shit is to
