B. caapi isn't a feeling that negatively interferes with the DMT experience,  I'd actually contend the opposite to be true.  The synergism that caapi and DMT have together is uncanny.

"Changa" refers to a mixture of DMT infused into an MAOI-containing leaf, but you can infuse DMT into anything you can smoke.  Most people differentiate between the two by referring to this as "enhanced leaf," rather than changa.

B. caapi leaves are pretty cheap, and the difference it makes in the overall comfort level on DMT trips is definitely worth it.


Effects aside, even infusing DMT onto something that doesn't contain an MAOI will make it easier to smoke, depending on the herbs used.  I've had several herbal vaporizer blends that were very nice in a vaporizer, but when smoked were unbelievably harsh.  Finding a leaf that is easy to smoke by itself is paramount to your enhanced leaf experience working the way you want.  This is another reason I like b. caapi.  The stuff is so good by itself that I'll regularly load up bowls of it.

Just try and articulate as well as possible what it's like.  The more he knows know what to expect, the better it will be.  But like everyone has said, it's hard to have a bad time on DMT because it happens so fast and hits so hard that you literally have no choice but to let go and ride it out.  I remember thinking for a fraction of a second during my first (ant most intense to date) DMT experience that it was too much and I wanted out, but then I focused on breathing and enjoying the show and had a smile on my face for the rest of the day.  If he's good with other psychedelics he should be fine.

Also, Pretty Lights - City of One, The Time Has Come, and Who Loves Me are phenomenal songs to listen to while tripping

Changa sounds like a cool idea, I've seen people talk about it around the shroomery but never tried it myself yet.

Can you just put it on top of some bud?

You could...  But mixing weed and DMT sometimes :feelsweirdman:

I usually don't smoke for at least a few hours before DMT, if I'm going into it sober.

Caapi is cheap as fuck, you might as well treat yourself to it.

I'll definitely look into caapi.
just have the Deem already, we're going to trip tomorrow night and I doubt I'll find any caapi between now and then. :crazy2:

Changa sounds like something I'll end up trying for my own future experiences, but I think that my friend will be fine with the glass pipe for his first time.

I'll just try to make sure he doesn't rip it too hard first time around. :thumbup:

What's that like?  I've been curious to try caapi leaf and salvia leaf, and to mix either/both with cannabis.

Caapi is a mild euphoric, and potentiator.  On it's own, it induces a general sense of happiness and contentment.  With weed, it amplifies the euphoric and cerebral qualities, without contributing to any cloudiness.  Also, it tastes great.

I've never tried it with salvia.
