Elderly Woman's Perfume Theory
    #13392880 -

My mind wanders when I'm at work, and I came up with this theory;

Wearing Old Ladies perfume may help your chances at job interviews.

Here's how it works.  First off, light dusting, don't glob it on or they'll think you're a weirdo.  A subtle aroma of an Elderly Ladies' perfume, which is noticeably different than young woman's perfume, might help you stand out from other applicants.

Since the sense of smell is more closely associated with memory than any other sense, being a man wearing an Elderly ladies' perfume may trigger memories and feelings in interviewers that could sway their mood and make you stand out;

Example:

1.) Take for instance, your potential employer is a young woman... young woman have a natural instinct to revere and respect, and not to mention in many cases, love, mature women; it reminds them of their grandmothers, mothers, beloved aunts etc.  Your aroma may trigger fond memories and even subconsciously the young woman could respect you more.

2.) Your potential employer is a young to mid-aged man?; most men love their mothers more than any person on the planet, even Hitler cried for 2 days after his mother's passing, and smelling of a mid-aged man's mother or grandmother could have similar affects to that of a young woman smelling it.

3.) What if your potential employer was an old man or a widower?  The smell of the perfume could very well spark similar affects as the above, with the added bonus that he may think of his beloved wife who passed on.  You might think that it could make him sad and not like you, but generally older men who lost their wives, are only happy when recollecting the times they did have with their wives and a pensive generosity may arise.

4.)  What if your potential employer was an old woman too?  This is a sure-thing, post-menopausal old women stick together tighter than the blankets they crochet at their sewing circles... it'll be like you're one of them :smile:

Elderly women, grandmother's, mothers, aunts etc. are revered and honored, even if you do it subconsciously, in society and this theory could help you at your next interview... Women dominate the minds of all people, and smelling like one at an interview might do the trick ...give it a try!

If it's a mid-aged man, he'll probably hire you and want some office-time romance.

I only go to job interviews to practice for the experience for when I decide to actually find a job I like.

Me neither.  Shit just hangs in the air like evil, chemical, nasty-old-lady-body-odor-dissolving cloud of noxious fog.
