I don't know what youre trying to get at.:um:

I was merely pointing out that, IMO, it's not over-thinking that makes things look distorted, but poor judgment.

This could be the birth of the latest conspiracy theory. :awesome: I'll chime in to get this ball rolling. Clearly Google is being used by the New World Order to collect the most personal of information about everyone...on Earth. They are also aiding the New World Order by helping stage a false alien invasion to trick humanity into uniting together for protection. See below:

No, you're right.  But do we demonize the internet or the policies that it's exposing?  The "usual" christian mentality is to quickly demonize it....

I think so too.  I suppose it does have some religious terror sounds to it, but I'm not sure how far it would go :justdontknow:

So they're collecting information... big deal.
Google was caught war-driving for personal information... still how is it a big deal?

What's so threatening about a collection of information?
I fail to see how anyone has anything to lose whereas I see great potential for what we have to gain.

Do you think Google is going to somehow steal your identities?

You don't want your information on the internet? Stop putting it there. Stop uploading pictures of yourself. Stop using the internet.
It bothers you that people can find your address by using the internet? Maybe the people who invented the phone-book were looking for world domination too. :tinfoil:

Yeah... because not using the internet is totally gonna prevent the government (who you regularly send your "sensitive" information too) from transmitting it across the internet.
Even if it's not transmitted across the internet, it's not like the USPS is "secure."

You can actually refuse listing in the phone book so I don't see your point.

The Internet isn't the problem, the internet version of One World Government (Google) is. Decentralization is the power of the Internet, decentralization and freedom. Google is out to sanitize the web and turn it into an impotent, shallow pay per view web where they rule supreme and uncontested.

We can avoid Microsoft. It's becoming harder and soon impossible to avoid Google. And once they have the power, they start banning people, organizations and ways of thinking off the Internet.
