I've been trying to convince my wife to feed me to the vultures when I die like the Tibetan monks. So far she's not sold on the idea.

Agaricus is safe to eat if it smells good. Toxic Agaricus smell like ink, especially the stem bases, and when cooked.

I have tasted many deadly species of Amanita, Lepiota and Galerina which smell and taste good. I spit them out so I would not die.
