I think the Rangers starters are really worn out and they'll be eliminated in the first round.

If Cliff Lee can keep it up he might be one of the best post season pitchers ever.

Your forgetting the man on the mound now, Roy Halladay...he's hasn't won a World Series(Let alone made it to the playoffs)....yet at least

Cliff Lee strapped the Phillies to his balls last year in the playoffs. He couldn't have done any better, his team failed, not him.

I'm not saying Cliffs bad...and the Phils put up great numbers in the playoff last year, just the Yanks bought better ones.

Plus Hamels was a little bitch the entire season for becoming number 2 after being the ace. Now that he realizes its not necessarily a bad thing, he is back to 08 numbers.

I know that.  There are just a whole lot of other super performers who have won.  Just to avoid citing any Yankees I would mention Dave Stewart and Jack Morris.

I think it was the 262 innings the year before more than him being a bitch. Also, advanced metrics say that he was unlucky last year. He added a cutter this year, and he's throwing a bit harder. He's a lefty ace now. Maybe better than Oswalt.
edit:
Halladay threw a no hitter. Damn.

That sucked so hard. I am glad I didnt watch the game.

The Twins are the most boring team in baseball. I hate watching them play.

WOW
What a way to go Bobby Cox! Two ejections in a row in the post season for blown calls he got right. MLB needs replay on fucking everything with these massively inept umps. Something like half a dozen blown calls this post season already.

They are having a players union meeting with the Umps/ heads of MLB and I'm guessing that is going to be a HUGE part of the meeting.

Suck it again, hater.:bluemoon:

Cincy sucks but even if they didn't they still would lose.  Atlanta pulled out a huge win after Wagner went down and they were basically stuck with the ever suspect Farnsworth for however long the game lasted.  On the road.  Neftali Feliz became what he has been all season.  A rookie.

There are 3 good teams left, 1 decent one and two wastes of playoff spots.  The two wastes will be squaring off in Atlanta today and the fact that they got out of SF even is going to be big, especially since Atlanta got there without using Hudson.  Regardless, the winner of this series is mere cannon fodder.

In Texas I am definitively hoping that TB's hitting outburst last night is an aberration and they go back to sleep.  I'd rather deal with Lee twice than TB.
