Trip discomfort
    #13282317 -

How do you guys deal with trip discomfot?

I can't find a comfortable position at all. You know that feeling when your neck is so tired it can't hold up your head anymore? It's like that all the time. It's the constant feeling of being so tired that I can support my head, but it's not going away, no matter what position i'm in.

I guess I'm having my first bad trip, but because of discomfort? :uhoh:

any tips are greatly appreciated.

It usually happens to me at the end of trips.

Perhaps smoke a big fuckin load of weed and vegetate on the couch :awesantabig:

I sorted it out guys.

Turns out It was weight on my shoulders building up the last few years. Once I realized what it was It turned into one of the purest, most cathartic experiences I've ever had. I'm still in tears after it.

I'll be making an unnecessarily long report about it soon once I collect myself from what just happened.

17grams fresh.

Literally a life changing experience. It's not that much, respectfully, but my god I'm still not sure what happened.

Yeah I'd like to hear what you mean by the weight on your shoulders building up over the years.

you sir, just had a mind change.... thats what i refer to it as.....

wonderful, humbling, and enlightening experience...

Did it come on from a third person perspective or did you rationalize it yourself?

I have no clue.

I still have to try to figure out exactly what happened. It was a lot to process.

The visuals are pretty weak, but I'm definitely still tripping.

I can't emphasize how useful YOGA is for something like this.  Yoga is just stretching and breathing.  Learn a few yoga poses while you are tripping, settle into the poses and breathe.  It REALLY helps.  I never have discomfort on trips now because I know yoga is always available to me.

it's just something that comes with the territory.
particularly on higher doses you'll go through a whole series of discomfort
I should sit up, I should be in the other room, I should lay down, I should open a window.
Just ignore it it will pass

yoga sounds like an excellent suggestion as breathing can really help you out of a hard spot
but I think yoga probably just takes your mind off the discomfort long enough for it to pass

Yoga seems to help me work WITH the discomfort on big trips; the discomfort doesn't go away, the energy it generates is just redirected into something useful.  I've had yoga turn tripping discomfort into pure pleasure.  Every trip is different tho.

The whole neck thing really made the trip bad for about 2 hours.

I can't believe something as simple as neck discomfort sent me into a bad trip. It felt like extreme muscle fatigue all throughout the back of my neck that wouldn't go away. It was almost unbearable at one point, which I'm guessing sent me into the bad trip. It happened the last time I tripped, to. Only that time was only a level 1 trip so I made it through alright. But this time It just wouldn't go away. It would really suck if this turns out to be a common thing when I trip, because after I dealt with the bad trip and got out of it, it turned into pure overwhelming joy and happyness that I've never felt before which brought me to tears. I had this feeling like I figured everything out, but I wasn't exactly sure what I figured out? (except for dealing with and getting out of the bad trip)

It really was an incredible and humbling experience.

the neck pain was probably psycho-somatic.  Emotion/thought clouds manifest.

incidentally, heal your body and it heals your mind.

Blurring the conscious and the subconscious and unconscious speeds all that up.

It just wouldn't go away, though. I would forget about it for a few minutes but it would just start getting worse and worse.

The next time I take them, I'll take them in the day and see if the same thing happens.

yeah dude you probably have some sort of inner tension that won't go away.

I dunno, i could be totally wrong, but i imagine thats just another face of synthesthasia. Emotions as physical sensations.

You said you had never really tripped on them before.  You have experience with psychs in general?  people get all sorts of weird shit.  Being wet is a common one.
