Alot of his words have impacted me in a very positive way. All of the people who inspire me, are people who simply say to tell everyone to f'off(in a nice way), and listen to your own heart/feelings.

TM might have had a lot of crazy/wild theories, but it doesn't matter to me, he had a lot of inspiration for me and other people alike, he was a great pioneer in rediscovering the possibilities of our minds.

Of course Terence did his share of crazy talk but that was the whole point of this career: To stress the fact that psychedelics hold the power to make people think in totally unexpected ways. To enable them to consider what they had previously missed. To give them the opportunity to think up astonishing ideas and become better, more complex individuals for it.

Simple as that.

Terence McKenna's ideas were very important for me at a certain stage.  I do like his voice, also.

Terence is pretty much an idol to me. He has pretty much the same view of the world as i do and hes such an inspiration. To be honest i never thought any of his theories were that silly. Just interesting. He was open to the fact that they were only theories.
