If you believe your life sucks, you may be depressed. As another depressed person, I know that not everything sucks, but you tend to live your life in the depressing parts, and you don't feel too much positive emotion when doing something thats fun or makes you happy.

I agree life does generally suck, however if you want it to stop sucking then you have to make the changes.
On one hand you have the whole world generally being crap, on the other hand you have yourself looking at the world think "What a crap world"! Whats the easiest thing to do? change the whole world so that it appears better, or change your attitude so that everything appears better anyway.

To quote a great song by a dodgy popstar:

...Sometimes, when i FIND myself on the downward spiral to the worst case scenario ready to embrace the negative...I think to myself "It could always be worse" then if/when it does I declare "I wouldn't have it any other way." ... Think happy thoughts.

My life sucks bad enough that I'm replying to one of the oldest threads on the Shroomery simply because I'm bored and also noticed something else... Literally the first thread in the Physical and Mental Wellbeing subforum (I think it's called a subforum, not exactly sure) has a user in it called The Clash, who registered on September 11th, 2001 and we all know what happened on that date... Anyway I realize it doesn't really matter... I just am sometimes spooked or mystified by things like that. That thread was made 18 years and 9 months ago. :crazy: (Also, I know bumping old threads is kind of looked down upon, that's why I never really do it and won't bump any more old threads after this one. I don't wanna get suspended or possibly banned and yes, I know that the person I'm replying to has (virtually) no chance of seeing my reply at all)

Probably won't get banned for necromancing threads, just cop a lot of flak from other members. But you didn't even really reply in this one.

Start your own mate. There's good people here who will talk with you. Life can be a cunt of a thing and everyone needs to get it out sometime in one way or another. Even if you don't really want to talk about specifics, just ponder around the generalisations, we're here for that too.
