You are looking at the vinyl covering for my greenhouse.
There is condensation on the inner surface. The trails are caused by little larvae as far as I can tell.

That sucks. You always have bug probs. Wasn't it ants last time? Oh well good luck. Maybe you can train them to make castings for you.

Those ants were from a while ago. I spray them with poison and they stay away.
I don't know what caused these trails, but I am smart enough not to let them grow out to find out. I took apart the greenhouse and cleaned it w/ bleach.

That would be something if insect larvae survived any amount of pressure cooking. . . I'd bet it's some other type of contamination, it's a bit tough to see in the posted pics, though. **Josh, I have seen the exact same thing. It prompted me to tear the whole thing down and let it sit out in the summer sun for awhile

Setting out a pie tin filled with beer works wonders on slugs. They cannot resist the brew and quickly drown once they climb in to take a drink.

I found these critters in one of my casings. I seem to have caught them in time. I have seen no other signs of them. I am keeping my eyes open though. This casing was cursed. First it was infected w/ verticillium and then mites. The spawn was a gift of sorts from a friend. I am sure the mites were introduced though.

That looks very suspicious. I would seperate those jars from any other jars you may have. Watch them very closely for larvae and see if any new trails show up.
Suntzu- I ran out of sun so washed everything in a solution of bleach. I think motaman may have an insect infiltration that occured post sterilisation.

Yes it is separated from the others.. I really don't see anything odd except the trails.. No insects or larvae. I'm not sure what my friend is going to do with it..

If it were outdoors...yes. The trails would be much larger though. These trails were as wide as the tip of a pin.

The pics I posted were on vinyl. I also posted pics of the mites after they were done growing.
Another user posted pics of his cakes w/ some suspicious indications.
I got two gallons of ant poison...I am waging chemical warfare w/ those scavengers! I haven't had an ant problem in a while.
