first pan. cyan wild texas grow

So I started a wild texas pan. cyan culture from spores and am about to isolate the mycelium..
There is so much info out there its hard to go through it all.
What would be the best coars to grow them and has anybody ever worked with this particular strain befor?:mushroomgrow:

You will want to spawn to poo+verm+gyp+whatever, or some such.

I found Pan Cyan to be a slow colonizer.

It also freaked when I shook it in jars a few times.

It just doesn't seem all that strong.

...but then again I am really still getting going myself.

I have a few trays of Pan Cyan that I am hoping to get
fruits from, but they took more than a month for rye to
colonize the trays.

We will see.

what kind of fruiting chamber do you want to have and will coir work?

Fruit as cubes in a SG, Greenhouse, or monotub.  Use horse manure as a substrate.  I don't shake my jars either.

No more then 2 inches of sub and an extremely thin casing layer, like 1/4-1/2" tops. They want full on humidity 95% to get pinning, once they pin though drop the humidity down to 80% since any excessive water on new pins will cause aborts.

Not much else to say beyond what the others have contributed. Good luck :thumbup:

would you suggest little pie pans in a monotub or green house with humidifier for FAE?
Also waht is probably the best grain to use for spawn production?

The usual grains would work fine. They don't need anything special...you can use any container you want really. They are more CO2 sensitive so they will need more TLC if in a shotgun over cubes. I've seen pans in a monotub once but I imagine that would take an insane amount of fanning.

If I had my choice, I'd go greenhouse.
